Worker #1: "Hey, did you hear that they're gonna tear down the Statue of Liberty now that Obama's been elected president?"
Worker #2: "What? No they aren't, what are you talking about?"
Worker #1: "Yeah, they're gonna replace it with a big statue of Aunt Jemima! Haw Haw Haw!"
Having not been privy to this outpouring of intellectualism, I can only speculate that this was meant to be some attempt at making a human "joke." And a poorly set and vaguely racist joke at that.
So, what is the joke then (and who would "they" be)? Clearly it's intended to be some kind of squint eyed observation that Obama is a black man and that the Aunt Jemima marketing character is modeled after a black woman. As a quick aside, here are some bullet points from the Aunt Jemima web site itself:
- 1889
- Chris Rutt and Charles Underwood of the Pearl Milling Company developed Aunt Jemima, the first ready mix.
- 1890
- R.T. Davis purchased the struggling Aunt Jemima Manufacturing Company. He then brought the Aunt Jemima character to life when he hired Nancy Green as his spokeswoman.
- 1914
- The image of Aunt Jemima was so popular that the company was renamed the Aunt Jemima Mills Company.
- 1926
- The Quaker Oats Company purchased the Aunt Jemima Mills Company.
Making up stereotypes is only funny if they are inconceivably impossible to be in the realm of true. Like "Those handsome Spaniards have T-Rex vision, so if one is hunting you, stand still!"
And lies like that are great cause they genuinely scare Mike.
So for some reason, here's a video very barely "making fun" of Belz's dinosponge video. I have no reason for having done this besides my lack of thinking. Most of the "jokes" are baseless and stupid. Also, shut up.
EDIT: Fixed the date of the post, I was worried Park would turn to Gawd for solace if I didn't.

I hate you and everything you represent.
Also, the dates on your shit's are all shitted up.
Speaking of dates, let's go on one of those.
Well, good sense of humor aside, that was kind of mildly offensive. Thx!
